ECI Funding Structure
Cloud Credits
Up to S$450,000 equivalent in compute credits issued directly by approved CSP partners.
Consultancy Support
Up to S$105,000 cash support covering 70% of external consultancy fees.
Clarification
You must co-pay 30% of consultancy costs. Credits cannot be used for existing business-as-usual hosting.

Who is eligible for ECI?
To qualify for the Enterprise Compute Initiative, your company must:
Be registered and operating in Singapore
Have a clear AI use case or MVP to build
Be ready to deploy AI using approved cloud providers
Commit internal data and team resources to execute the project
Not operate in excluded sectors such as gambling or betting
Note: Projects must go beyond strategy and demonstrate real technical implementation.

The ECI grant is designed for mature startups and SMEs. You need a minimum of 10 staff in Singapore and a tech team of at least 2. Early-stage startups with no revenue or team may not qualify.
No. The cash portion (up to SGD 105k) covers external consultancy fees (70% support). You must co-pay the remaining 30%. The cloud credits are provided directly by the CSP.
You must deliver a functioning Minimum Viable Product (MVP) within the project period (usually 6 months). It must be deployed software at the minimum, and cannot be a simple research paper or a slide deck.
Yes, but the grant supports new projects or significant scale-ups. You cannot use the credits to pay for your existing business-as-usual hosting bills.
