Every Singapore company must appoint a corporate secretary within six months of incorporation. The secretary must be ordinarily resident in Singapore. We can be appointed immediately and take over all statutory obligations from day one.

The corporate secretary is responsible for your company's statutory administration: filing your Annual Return with ACRA, preparing and recording board and shareholder resolutions, maintaining the registers of directors, shareholders and controllers, and keeping the company's records in order. In short, we make sure your company meets its ongoing obligations under the Companies Act so the directors don't have to track them.
Leaving the position unfilled beyond six months is a breach of the Companies Act, and ACRA can impose penalties on the company and its directors. Beyond the fine, missing statutory filings can cause knock-on problems — for example when you raise funding, undergo due diligence, or need clean records for a bank or auditor. Appointing early avoids all of this.
