To be eligible, you must:

• Be a first-time founder

• Be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident

• Be a key decision-maker and be committed full-time to your startup.

• Hold at least 30% equity in the company collectively with your co-founders.

• The company must be registered as a private limited company in Singapore for less than 6 months at the time of application.

How Do I Apply for the Startup SG Founder Grant?

The application process is as follows:

1. Approach an Accredited Mentor Partner (AMP)

Find an AMP who aligns with your idea and is willing to back your business as a mentor.

2. Get a recommendation

If the AMP assesses your business idea favorably, they will provide a letter of recommendation.

3. Submit to Enterprise Singapore

Submit your application to Enterprise Singapore through your AMP.

What is the Funding Support for the Startup SG Founder Grant?

The grant provides up to SGD 50,000 in funding on a 1:1 matching basis. You will also receive mentorship and support from your AMP.

Co-Matching is Integral to the Startup SG Grant

To receive the grant, you must raise a co-matching amount of SGD 10,000. Enterprise Singapore will then match with a SGD 50,000 grant, bringing your total capital to SGD 60,000.
