Before You Start: Set Up Your Business Grants Portal (BGP) Account
The Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) and Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) both run through the Business Grants Portal (BGP), accessed via your company's Corppass account. If nobody in your shop has set one up yet, do that first, since it's the login every application below depends on.
Apply for the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) in 3 Steps
1. Pick a pre-approved solution
Browse the PSG Solutions Directory on GoBusiness and filter by your business function (POS, inventory, accounting). Only listed solutions qualify.
2. Get a vendor quotation, but don't pay yet
Match the quotation to the pre-approved package exactly. Paying a deposit or signing a contract before your application is submitted disqualifies it, a mistake worth flagging to whoever handles your shop's admin.
3. Submit via BGP, with the quotation attached
Processing typically takes 4 to 6 weeks from a complete submission.
Apply for the Progressive Wage Credit Scheme (PWCS): No Action Required
The Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) calculates the PWCS automatically from your CPF contribution records and pays it out directly. All you need to do is ensure your payroll reflects the wage increases your Progressive Wage Model (PWM)-covered staff are entitled to, since the credit only follows wages that were genuinely raised.
Apply for the Enterprise Development Grant (EDG)’s Core Capabilities in 4 Steps
1. Confirm your project fits Core Capabilities
This includes business strategy, financial management, human capital development, service excellence, or branding, rather than ongoing operational spending.
2. Engage a PMC-certified consultant
This applies if your project has a consultancy component. Ask for a proposal with a man-day breakdown and their certification details, since Enterprise Singapore requires both in the application.
3. Prepare your documents
This includes your project proposal, quotation, recent financial statements, and projected outcomes.
4. Submit via BGP
The review typically takes 8 to 12 weeks before you receive a Letter of Offer.
What Happens After Approval?
For the PSG and EDG, you’ll receive a Letter of Offer. Both schemes pay out on a reimbursement basis, where you complete the project or purchase before claiming against actual costs incurred.
For the EDG specifically, claims need to reach Enterprise Singapore within 6 months of your project's qualifying period ending, so don't let that window slide once the work is done.
Document Checklist
Scheme | What you'll need |
PSG | Vendor quotation matching the pre-approved package, CorpPass login |
PWCS | Nothing, just accurate payroll records |
EDG | Project proposal, consultant quotation (if applicable), financial statements, projected outcomes, CorpPass login |
