What Did the EDGE Grant Change?
The launch of the EDGE Grant introduced a number of key changes, namely:
1. The application process has been streamlined to just one window.
Your business no longer needs to navigate separate portals or guess whether a project falls under EDG, PSG, or MRA.
2. The BizSG Portal has been launched.
Together with the launch of EDGE, the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry (METI) and EnterpriseSG rolled out the BizSG portal, an AI-powered tool that helps your business determine your eligibility for the EDGE Grant's activities.
3. There is transition support for ongoing PSG, MRA, and EDG applications opened before 30 September 2026.
If you submitted an application or have an active project under EDG, PSG, or MRA before 30 September 2026, it will continue to be processed under its original terms. Claims can be submitted upon project completion.
4. The Business Grants Portal (BGP) has been updated to include the EDGE Grant.
Under the previous PSG, MRA, and EDG frameworks, all applications were routed through the Business Grants Portal (BGP) 1.0. The EDGE Grant follows a different track, categorised under BGP 2.0, alongside other grants like the Agri-Food Cluster Transformation (ACT) Fund (ACT) and the Built Environment Technology and Capability Grant (BETC).
EDGE Grant At-A-Glance: Core Terms & Funding Rules
