Step 1: Diagnose Your AI Readiness and Submit Your WDG(JR+) Application
Before you sign any vendor contracts or pay any deposits, you must define your AI transformation scope, which you can easily do with our grant advisors.
Once you’ve determined your AI transformation scope, we will help you submit an application for the new SkillsFuture Workforce Development Grant (Job Redesign+).
If successful, you can claim up to S$50,000 for workforce consultancy to assess your AI readiness and design your implementation roadmap.
Step 2: Build Internal Capability with Subsidised Training
Once your roadmap is approved, we will help you use the secondary component of the WDG(JR+) to train your line managers and HR personnel’s AI capabilities.
The grant provides up to S$60,000 to fund such reskilling initiatives, as your staff must first understand how to manage AI-augmented workflows before you introduce the actual technology to your wider workforce.
Step 3: Execute the Transformation with the NTUC CTC Grant
With your planning complete, our next step is to apply for the NTUC Company Training Committee (CTC) Grant to fund the physical execution of your business’s AI transformation.
This grant absorbs up to 70% of the costs for new AI software, custom technological builds, and hardware equipment.
We will help you clear this application by outlining these key components for your employees who are affected by the new AI tools:
Demonstrate commitment to a tangible worker outcome
Guarantee a wage increase and skill allowance
Develop a formal Career Development Plan
Step 4: Maintain Audit-Ready Corporate Ledgers for Reimbursement
As all AI grants in Singapore operate on a strict reimbursement model, you must pay for your AI transformation project upfront and claim the funds later.
The government will audit your internal ledgers to verify that all payments originated from your corporate bank account. In fact, to separate your grant expenses from your daily operational costs, you must set up specific tracking codes in your accounting software.
If you haven’t already done so, learn how to set up your corporate bank account with Mezzanine Enterprise:
